France Gall was a popular French ye-ye singer in the 60’s, working with Serge Gainsbourg she won the eurovision song contest for Luxembourg in 1965 with Poupée de cire, poupée de son, which caused controversy with the French public as both Gall and Gainsbourg are French nationals. As you may notice from my previous posts i adore the clothing from this era and France Gall is undoubtedly a style icon.
Daisy Lowe, daughter of fashion designer Pearl Lowe and musician Gavin Rossdale is now making it big in the world of modeling. Lowe is more of a cool indie chick than a preened stick-thin mannequin, but her individual look and clear sense of style make her one to watch in the fashion stakes.

Throwing together jeans, checked shirts, ankle boots, mini dresses and It-bags, Alexa manages to pull off the whole ‘I couldn’t care less’ vibe mixed in with a little granny chic.

Jane Birkin pictured here with Serge Gainsbourg in the 1960s, i adore her chic style. In 1984, Hermés designed a handbag for her - the Birkin bag - after the head of Hermés spotted her struggling to board a plane while weighed down with luggage.

Bridget Bardot was the embodiment of the Sixties carefree, laisez-faire lifestyle. She is remembered for boosting the popularity of the bikini and, of course, outrageously sexy hairstyles.
